Our Ebikes
Backroad Adventures offers top brand ebikes designed with comfort, safety, and practicality in mind. We use both Rad Power Bikes and Velotric ebikes and firmly believe the set up of the bike is as important for enjoying the ride as the scenery.
For maximum comfort, our bike have big comfy seats, suspension seat posts, front fork suspension, and raised handlebars.
All of our ebikes have 750 watt rear hub motors that power you up the big hills of Leelanau County.
We use Class 2 ebikes, which means in addition to pedal assist, you have the option of using a throttle to boost you up steep inclines or help you get started. Class 2 ebikes max out at 20 mph.
These ebikes have 8 gears and all other features of a normal pedal bike.
Our bikes are equipped with a rear rack bag you can use for your extra layers, personal items, water, phones, and keys.
Integrated lights provide high visibility for safe riding on the road.
Wider tires are safer, cushier, and more stable on pavement or gravel. We offer both fat tire ebikes (with 4 inch tires) and hybrid ebikes (with 2.6 inch tires).
